■KS-1-HS is an RS-232C ⇔ RS-422 conversion unit. ■It comes with an AC adapter; the RS-232C side has a D-sub 9-pin connector, and the RS-422 side has a D-sub 25-pin connector. It supports a maximum transmission speed of 115.2 Kbps, is lightweight and compact (about the size of a cigarette box), equipped with a surge absorber that is resistant to noise, and supports long-distance wired communication (up to 1.2 km) at a low price. ■Sales performance (2023) ■In addition to this, we also offer other models such as the KS-10P-HS (list price 26,000 yen), which has an AC power circuit built-in and is a connector type with a proven track record of connecting to various manufacturers' sequencers in FA sites; the KS-10PT-HS (list price 30,000 yen), which is a terminal block type with an AC power circuit built-in; and the KS-10PTI (list price 36,000 yen), which is a terminal block type with an insulated AC power circuit built-in.
